Crispy lamb cutlets on the banks of the River Thames

It is fair to say that the weather in the South of England at the moment can be summed up with 2 words – bloody awful. So after 2 weeks of almost constant persisting down, I spotted a brief interlude in the rain & decided to raid the fridge & then head down to one of my favourite places to eat out – a secluded little copse by the River Thames.

With my current fascination with Mediterranean food, I decided to fire-up the Bushcraft stove & grill some harissa-spiced lamb cutlets – served with a simple raita (natural yoghurt with finely chopped mint) spread over toasted flatbread.

By eck it were good….
